Jash Raj Subba is presently the Director of Horticulture, Government of Sikkim and he graduated in Agricultural Science from the college of Agriculture, Himachal University, Solan(H.P.) in 1973. Then he joined IARI, New Delhi for post graduation under ICAR, Junior Fellowship and successively completed M.Sc.(Entomology) in 1975. After his post graduation, he joined the service in the Department of Agriculture, Government of

  Sikkim on 5th November, 1975. Since then,

he is serving the state government in various capacities such as Plant Protection Officer, Regional Project Officer, Deputy Director Agriculture in the Districts, Joint Director Agriculture Census, Managing Director, SIMFED, Joint Director Agriculture, Additional Director Horticulture and now Director Horticulture in the Department of Horticulture, Government of Sikkim.
