Sikkim Vihangam Yoga
Sansthan is not a religious organization owing its foundation to some
religious sect. Its main objective is to teach people irrespective of
their religion, the purpose of life. It is striving to educate people
about the mysteries of life.
Vihangam Yoga means Bhrama Gyan ie to recognize the Pramathma (supreme
soul). Actually, Vihangam symbolizes a free spirit flying in space
without any limitations, totally independent of the people on the earth.
The Sansthan lays emphasis on the athma (soul) – Physical body is just a
virtual reality. Our body keeps on changing but the soul remains amar.
As in every religion, recycle of birth is an accepted doctrine of the
sansthan. It points out that just like we change clothes we change our
physical body and what physical body we get is totally dependent on the
past life. If we have led a life of virtue in the past life, we will be
rewarded with a good body and if we has sinned in the previous life, we
will punished with some worse physical body. To sum up a past life of
virtue is important for a good body at present.
“Karma is total religion” and Yoga is the combination of athma and
pramathma. Yoga teaches to control the mind and help in distinguishing
what is wrong and what is right. But this Yoga must be learned from a
suitable teacher and that’s precisely the objective of the organization
– providing teachers to teach the troubled mind.
